I can also run my ipod through them when I workout. Some of those little ipod docking speaker stations cost 3x the price for less sound quality. For $60, these speakers are a real deal. The sound is great.
Use them sometimes on my TV to give real nice sound for movies or with workout dvds. The bass is excellent and the treble gives a really good balance. Bought these to replace an old set of computer speakers. I am not an audiophile but am very staisfied with the quality. Even when bass is low treble does not sound weak and thin.
This is the 2nd time I purchased this sound system, the sound is awesome, and it is easy to set up.
There's no static when I turn the volume up loud, the bass is great and the effortlessness of making the sound adjustments is by far nice. If you're looking for great quality and sound these are the speakers for you. Occasionally, I play action movies on the desktop and the sound is superior. These traits were important to me because I use my desktop all the time and I like to listen to a variety of music while I work. I looked at two other brands and styles before purchasing this set. I shopped for 6 months before buying speakers for my iMac. I wanted to make sure I purchased a quality set with good sound, size and that the price was just right. The sound output is remarkable.
I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM TO EVERYONE. FOR A 2.1 SYSTEM, THESE SPEAKERS ARE EXCELLENT. VERY GOOD PRODUCT.
